• Abandoned Cars. To report an abandoned vehicle, contact East Cambridgeshire District Council on 01353 665555. The vehicle will be assessed by a Council Officer, and if considered abandoned, will be removed as soon as is reasonably practical.

• Ambulances. Dial 999 for an ambulance only if the answer is Yes to at least one of these questions: Does the condition look life threatening? Will the condition get worse if the person is moved? Does the person need the specialist skills of paramedics?

• Flooding. The Environment Agency provides advice at its website on flood warnings and dealing with flooding. Flood warnings are available on the Floodline 0845 988 1188.

• Fly Tipping. Cambridgeshire County Council publishes a guide to dealing with fly tipping. You should also contact the Environment Agency if there is a risk of pollution to water, soil or air.

• Roads and Pavements. Cambridgeshire County Council is responsible for the maintenance of roads and footpaths, including repair of potholes, provision of dropped kerbs, weed control, clearing mud and spillages on roads, and signs and bollards. Defects can be reported on 0845 045 5212.

• Smells and Odour. East Cambridgeshire District Council is responsible for dealing with complaints about smells and odour. These can give rise to statutory nuisance.
